Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah is an Indian actor, playback vocalist and a performer who appears most often in Tamil and Malayalam movies that are based on the Tamil language. Her first appearance as an actor was in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam, and her Malayalam debut was with Annayum's Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah grew up in an Anglo-Indian home at Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Andrea's father was a Madras High Court lawyer. The younger sister of her is a Belgian research assistant who has a job in Leuven. Jeremiah was raised near Chennai and went to National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea started with classical piano classes at the age of eighteen, has been described as the definition of a "geek" and aspired to become a psychiatric nurse until her 12th grade examination. The actress was also a stage performer in the college she attended and was a part of several stage plays organised in collaboration with The Madras Players and EVAM.
