Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson, an American producer and singer, is also a writer. She is most famous for her role as Tara Maclay in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson has also written as well as directed and appeared in her own films Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. In addition, she appeared in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson was born on the 8th of January, 1977 Birmingham Alabama, daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson psychiatrist. Danielle is her older sister who is also an artist. Benson was a member of a Reform Jewish synagogue as she grew in her teens. Her mother is a Southern Baptist and raised Jewish by her father is too Jewish. Benson began appearing in other films, like The Killing Jar. Benson has also been featured in TV shows such as Morganville The Series. Behind the camera, Benson used her creative talents to develop the Ghosts of Albion television series. In 2010, she also directed Drones.
