Kari Sam Wuhrer, born on 28th April 1968 is an American singer and actress. Wuhrer began her career as an teen and is most well recognized for her role as Maggie Beckett in the television series Sliders and also as the Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), an accountant for payroll, as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer, a police officer and automobile salesman. There are three siblings and brothers. The singer was in her teens who performed in clubs, sneaking away from her family to do so. Kari Wuhrer was an American model, performer and actress. She began her acting career at the Wooster School when she was thirteen years old. Her birth date was April 28 the 28th of April, 1967 at Brookfield Connecticut. She is the daughter an American-born father from Germany as well as a mother from Germany. Kari is the youngest of three siblings. When she was a teenager her nightclub, she performed and then slipped away to perform. In the year she turned 13 older, Kari studied acting at the Wooster School, then was enrolled in drama classes at the Tisch School of the Arts located at New York University, Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College as well as at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art with renowned teacher Uta Hagen. Kari was first introduced to acting when she was 13 years old, and received her first big break in 1987 on MTV Remote Control.
